Four Great Paths Into Tech
StartSteps currently offers four Talent Accelerator programs, each focused on technologies that are consistently in demand across German companies. All programs are five months, full-time, taught in English, and fully funded through the Bildungsgutschein.
Here’s how they differ—and how to choose.
SAP Finance Consultant
SAP is the enterprise software that runs core business operations at companies across Germany—finance, logistics, manufacturing, public services. This program trains you to work with SAP S/4HANA, the latest version of SAP’s business platform.
In this role, you’ll configure SAP systems, understand business processes with a focus on finance, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support implementation projects.
The program leads to jobs such as SAP Consultant, Business Analyst, and SAP Finance Specialist.
This program is a good fit if you have experience in administration, finance, operations, or business processes. Understanding how organizations work is more important here than technical background.

SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
SAP EWM is the warehouse management module within the SAP ecosystem. It’s used by companies across logistics, retail, manufacturing, and e-commerce to manage complex warehouse operations, inventory, and supply chain processes.
In this role, you’ll configure and customize SAP EWM systems, optimize warehouse processes, manage inventory and logistics workflows, and support implementation and rollout projects.
The program leads to jobs such as SAP EWM Consultant, Warehouse Management Specialist, and Supply Chain Analyst.
This program is a good fit if you have experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or inventory management. Practical understanding of how warehouses and distribution centers work translates directly to this role.

ServiceNow System Administrator
ServiceNow is an IT service management platform used by enterprises across every industry to manage internal IT operations, workflows, and service requests.

The program leads to jobs such as ServiceNow Administrator, IT Service Manager, and Platform Administrator.
This program is a good fit if you have experience in customer service, helpdesk, operations, or coordination roles. Communication and problem-solving skills translate directly.
The program prepares you for ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Cloud & Data Engineering (AWS & Databricks)
Cloud infrastructure and data platforms power modern applications and analytics. This program trains you in AWS (Amazon’s cloud platform) and Databricks (a data engineering platform).
In this role, you’ll build and maintain cloud infrastructure, work with data pipelines, support data engineering teams, and manage cloud resources.
The program leads to jobs such as Cloud Engineer, Data Engineer, and DevOps Engineer.
This program is a good fit if you’re comfortable with more technical work and enjoy problem-solving with systems. This is the most technical of the four programs, but no prior experience is required—you’ll learn from scratch.

How to Choose
If your background is in administration, finance, or business operations, consider the SAP Finance Consultant program. If you have experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain, the SAP EWM program may be ideal. If you come from customer service, ITSM, helpdesk, or coordination roles, the ServiceNow Administrator program is a strong match. And if you’re drawn to technical infrastructure and systems, the AWS & Databricks Cloud & Data Engineering program offers the deepest technical path.
Not sure? Start with what sounds most interesting. Your first program is a starting point, not a lifelong commitment. Skills compound over time, and you can always specialize further.
What All Programs Include
All programs run five months, full-time, with instructor-led live training conducted in English. They include soft skills development covering communication, teamwork, and professional presence, plus career support through coaching and job matching via TalentStart.
